Fine Motor Skills

We help your kids to create! We'll help them to develop coordination and strength in their hands & fingers for better pencil/crayon grasp, grip strength, dexterity, buttoning, handwriting, tying shoes, and arts & crafts

Strength & Coordination

We help your kids feel strong! We'll help them develop their core strength, posture, climbing, jumping, skipping, endurance, balance, playground play (monkey bars, rock walls, slides), and bilateral coordination skills

Sensory Integration

We foster mind-body awareness and healthy sensory systems. This includes: body awareness, mind-body connection, sensory regulation, and adapting to lights, noises, textures, and other daily sensory experiences

Emotional Regulation

We help your kids manage big emotions. They will learn emotional awareness, calming tools, communicating their needs, and managing anxiety and frustration

Visual Motor Integration

We help your kids excel in sports and school! We target hand-eye coordination, tracking, convergence, catching a ball, using spatial awareness, finding items in a busy environment, copying letters and shapes, and improving handwriting legibility

Executive Functioning

We help your kids to stay organized! This includes learning the skills of planning, organizing, sequencing, working memory, using a visual schedule and other visual memory supports, and developing impulse control

Self-care skills

We help your kids to be independent! We support kids in learning to complete before and after-school routines, tooth brushing, dressing, self-feeding with utensils, making snacks & packing lunch, bedtime routine, and sleep hygiene

Growth Mindset

We build resilient kids! By teaching your kids to adopt a growth mindset they'll become more confident, and willing to do and try hard things! We'll help your child to stay open-minded and maintain positive self talk as they build new strength and skills!

Parent coaching sessions focus on improving the family relationship and dynamic. We work on changing routines and interactions, making strategies a part of the everyday routine, and suggesting resources to support daily life

Nature & Nurture OT is an out-of-network provider. We do not directly accept insurance, but we do provide superbills to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Your coverage will depend on your specific plan's out-of-network benefits. It is recommended to call your insurance carrier to inquire about out-of-network benefits. Many of our families successfully receive coverage for services!
